Any suggestions for the next meet. I know the forecast is bad for this weekend and possibly all next week, but we are now in flaming June, as it use to be called and should be looking up. As a suggestion, how about Sunday the 21st June, meet at the Salthouse pub in Clevedon, they have a biggish carpark, plus a public one adjacent. If we could find an all-day pub in some outlaying area, say Churchill, Blagdon etc., we could perhaps have a drive in convoy to the said pub / village, and then have a pie and a pint.

Another good day out would be to meet say somewhere near Cheddar, and then drive across country to the Haynes Museum down near Castle Cary. I have always enjoyed the museum here despite visiting it about 5 times.

Another pub open all day with a big car park is the Globe at Newton St Loe, which is halfway between Bristol and Bath on the A4. The food is not bad either.

We could meet at the Severn Bridge services for a photo shoot and a chat, and then drive to the Salthouse in Clevedon, or a pub in Cheddar, or the Stag & Hounds in Chuchill, or the pub at Princetown on Dartmoor, or Exmouth, or Exeter down by the canal, or Seatown (Dorset) which has a cracking car park right on the front adjacent a pub, or go over the severn Bridge to the Forest of Dean. Or any suggestions.

Thats a shame Pete as I have not seen you for quite a while due to the Zed being fubared by some 80 year old dink.

Well, what a response, only Zogg and Funkyboogaloo have responded. perhaps someone else has better ideas for a meet. Let me know and I will let you take over.:headvswal

This way a bit John, murt been arranging them way up your way. Exeter way be good for us. Will keep a eye on this thread as only just seen it.:)

I think if you go to exeter the Welsh boys won't come, I may be wrong but its 2&1/2 hrs just to get there?

Ok bit of an update. I am trying to arrange a meet for a club I belong to (I am sure you are you are all aware of who i mean). I am suggesting the Welsh members and ASG/South West members meet at Severn Bridge services and then on to a venue from there. Maybe if both clubs have a few cars there we may get a decent attendance for all members. Waddya say?

If you want to organise a joint Z meet in the Welsh area, then something like the Ross-on-Wye venues were absolutely excellent!

The Ross meet was the first one I ever went to. Used to get really good turnouts.

We'll go as far as Taunton if need be, but starts to get expensive after that....

Probably wont be able to make any meets till end of the month as the zed will be in the bodyshop on the 19th.

Well perhaps we should change this to July 5th as it seems that everyone is busy. How about some comments or suggestions on venues.!!

Will suggest on the Welsh forum as our uptake is a little slow and the extra few weeks means a few cars may be back on the road including mine!
