Ian,

Firstly thank you for you information, but in answer.....

According to the manual, the UK standard radio DOES need a code, and it has 'CODE' written on it (obviously can't test it ;) ) >> http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=el&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=94&design=default&total=133

As for asking NISSAN for it, they want £40!!!!!!!! But I can buy the software off eBay for £2.99 and generate my own... but can't test that either!

As for the rear amp, it was puerly the PM's with Scott that came to this conclusion, he said he'd sort it out. Although I wasn't aware you could use it without the amp, so far enough, although I don't have the plug coupler for this either!

I wasn't aware that the UK ariel was the double plug, I thought it was just the JSpec ones, but I didn't say that that made him a bad person, it was just something else he said he'd sort for me.

I have no problem with someone going on holiday mid sale, why should I, the holiday part wasn't a problem, but he did tell me that he'd sort it all before he went, his words not mine!

At the end of the day, it's the principle, not the money, not the missing items, just the principle! And I'm sure if you'd been ignored for no reason at all, I'm sure you'd be a little pissed off as well!

Whereas I appreciate your help, I don't believe I've been harsh on Scott, I think 6 weeks is long enough....... I'll now put this down to experience and simply write it off...... I won't say another word on the subject on the forum, not even "I told you so" if it happens again! If anyone does want to talk to me about this, then feel free to PM me ;)

Dave

Well, personally, I am pleased to have received my parts and I am not out of pocket, but what happened here. Did Scott (clownpants) suffer a breakdown or just a momentary thought that he had the money and everyone could whistle. Apart from an apology there has been no explaination for his behaviour. which was abysmal, ignoring pm's etc.,. Is he capable of doing this again ?? some people have put quite a lot of effort into getting in touch with him, whom I thank very much and this displays the superb club spirit. Do we risk another 'episode'.

, He has been very quick to ask for his threads to be unlocked which I feel is shamefull. We hopefully don't think that Scott is a bad person but somehow there is a need for him to improve the trust aspect. Perhaps he should post out items before receiving payment ? until this is once again restored.

I'm trying my best to keep all informed. Old zed, i have fully explained my 'behaviour' on a number of occasions. People have PM'd me, too which all (bar 1) were replied to.

I don't think it is shameful to have my thread unlocked. I fully apologize to those who i have let down and i made every effort to rectify any problems. 4 parcels were delayed, for reasons i don't want to type again. I have given as much detail here as i can...http://300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=127139

On a personal note, i apologise again to you. I would not have liked to have been put in that position.

As for the trust issue, i will think of something.

Cheers

Scott

I have received my package, thank you. I have also voted in favour of clownpant's regaining his posting rights.

All's well that ends well, Grommit!
