Bolting engine to stand

My engine stand has 4 arms that attach the engine to it with bolts. Where is the best place to attach the engine? I was thinking of using the gearbox mounting area, would this be ok?

    Do you mean the holes the gear box would normally fasten to? They will be fine mate, just use all 4, I bought some bolts the correct thread but too long, and packed them out with washers so as much thread of the bolt as possible was used.... HTH.
