Well as above!

I had the engine rebuilt about 18 months ago but i've not been able to get it remapped since. It's currently running a basic map, written by John Dixon, but i think it's nearing time to start running these turbo's to show what they can do.

Any Offers?

Speak to John Dixon again. Nobody else in the UK has anywhere near as much experience as John for Mapping the stock ECU. He can custom map it on rolling road.

The UK Mapping specialists are all dedicated to mapping Aftermarket standalone Engine management systems.

Ive been sending John pm's at random times over the past year and a bit. But he was busy with family commitments. Sent him one last week, he's read it but no reply.

:( Not sure then. Im sure there are a couple of people on here who have the software to map the stock ECU (like me) and have played around a bit with it but I doubt they have any real Dyno mapping experience.

The other known stock ECU chip sellers are just resellers of Chips rather than Custom mappers.

I'm sure I read a recommendation of a company in the UK that has mapped the stock Z32 ECU before, but I have no idea who they were now and cant find the relevant thread. Hopefully somebody else will remember and I didn't imagine that.

If you cant find anyone then may have to consider a Standalone ECU system. There are companies all over the UK fully experienced in Mapping these to any vehicle.

I only have very little experience with tinkering myself and certainly wouldn't want to work on somebody else's. I'll be fully trained in ECU mapping in year 2 of my degree course if you want to wait another year LOL

Richard bell of risingsun performance has the equipment to map the nissan ECU's. They mainly deal in Skylines and a bit far from you, but maybe worth a phone call perhaps.

Distance aint a problem tbh. If im going to get a top quality job, i'm more than willing to travel. I mean, I've had it to Jimmers twice!

I was starting to look into the Stand Alone route but decided to get the bodywork tidied up before i spend huge money on performance.

ive been waiting for mr dixon for a good year aswell. But he does seem like a busy man. Theres a place called afm tuning somewhere near london i think. They can map the standard ecu. Im just going to wait for john though. Car isnt running bad, just nothing like what it. And from what everyone says its worth the wait. Having said that we've no chance now that V8 monsters on the road.lol. Hmm, map other peoples Z's or go ripping up the road, tough one.

cheers

Sorry gents, been on hols this week.

Am trying to sort some dyno slots at the moment but keep getting sent away to work so is difficult to fit everything in!

At least now mine is running that's one less job.

Will have a word with the dyno guy this week and see what availability is like in the next few months.
