Need the one with the fog light switch built in. Mine is an import and I have the switch lashed up below the steering wheel somewhere.

(it is on the RH switch gear on a UK, right ???)

Hi Andy,

As far as I know, the foglight switch on a UK car is the same as on a J-spec car. When you press it on a UK car, both the front and the rear switch on simultaneously. What I have done on my J-spec (with lots of help from Jeff TT) is to put a small switch discretely at the top of the cluster that operates the rear foglights. Very unoptrusive and neat. The only thing that J-spec dashes don't have is a warning light that the rear foglights are on ... oh well.

However, should I come across a UK spec car at the breakers I will keep an eye out for the gear.

Ahh, I see. I have a switch down below the steering wheel that turns the rear fogs on. I suspect yours may be illegal, as I think you need a warning light that indicates the fogs are on. My switch lights up (although I can't see it while driving!).

Ah, illegal you say ... that's why I'm fitting a little LED behind it ... problem solved!
