I've wanted to go Skydiving for ages and a mate offered the chance to go, been waiting for a couple of months but finally went today!

Plane took us 2.5 miles up, door slid open, sat on the edge of the plane with legs dangling then WAHEY! 30 seconds of freefall followed by about 8 minutes with the parachute open as we sailed to the ground.

Absolutely EPIC day out, will be going again. If you get the chance to do it - THEN DO IT!

sky diving=a handy thing to know in the event of a plane crash landing, but jump out of a perfectly good airborne plain with a shell suit on ya back is a big no no for me lol

top marks for giving it a go though bud, my hat comes off for ya

I Know the feeling mate. Did it my self over the desert in Vegas, I swear to god the plane we went up in was held together with gaffer tape. I was relieved to get out... Right up until the chute opened and I discovered my left *****ck was trapped under one of the straps.

Ouch yeah that can't be good! I made sure that everything was clear before the jump, lol

Its such a surreal feeling, I wasn't nervous at all, even when sat on the edge of the plane. When you are heading down towards the ground at 140mph its like an out of body experience, really weird and hard to describe!

When I first met my partner she mentioned that she fancied having a go at skydiving, so a couple of years later I bought her tandem jump for her birthday.

She did not look very well when she landed, but credit to her, I would not have done it, but she has quite strongly stated that she does not want the same present again.

I know, I would def do it again. despite while climbing the instructor saying he had just split up with his missus/his dog died/discovered he had cancer, and he felt like there was nothing left to live for....Fooking wind up merchants love that sh!t

them pics are awesome apache, wish I had some of my jump. They gave the option of a DVD to remember your jump with, but at a cost of £80, I decided to keep the memories to myself LOL
