Yep, it is possible. I think ChrisC has one fitted to his ZX.

Unfortunately I don't know where you can get one or have it fitted ...

Good luck.

pls can let me know how and how much if poss or i could pss u my number if u wish cheers so far....well happy now that the thought of not losing her....

you might want to look at the weight ratio's first, the vehicle towing the caravan should be 3/4 of the weight of the caravan.:D

I think the Z will be twice the weight of the caravan! LOL

THIS is the most useful thing for caravans and it's what they were really designed for!

Yes I've got one on mine that's removable and completely hidden when not in use.

Nissan used to make a factory tow kit but it's no longer available according to people I asked.

Mine was a Brink snap-off system custom fitted to tow the boat or a jetski but as I wanted it removable and hidden it wasn't cheap - £400 but worth it so I don't have to drive to the coast for a week away in a different car when I could be enjoying the Z.

Having said that the boat broke down as well as the Z so I've hardly used it LOL

I had an interesting moment on the way back from Loch Lomond once.

Stopped at the lights in Glasgow with 24ft of boat and outboard on the back and a guy pulls up next to me in a new black BMW and starts giving it some revs.

I couldn't resist...

Lights change and he goes for it!

Bye bye BMW!

Left him standing and pulled a good half mile gap before I slowed and he caught up LOL

He must have been gutted.

Just glad I did a good job of tying the boat down or I might have dumped it on it's hull in the middle of the junction

PS. If I ever go near a caravan with it you are all welcome to shoot me

well thanks very much for the help,,,,,

ps: i would tow a trailier at the back of my z if i knew i wasnt losing her and the way its looking i will be able to keep her.................

I know your a very long way away, but if in the next few weeks your driving down south, pop in to Zedworld and you can have mine if you want it. You will have to unbolt it though, but that's not hard to do :)

Shape and size and weight etc don't really make it viable to mess around unbolting myself and posting, but the offers there for you though if you want it.

 You cant get anymore club spirited than that.

Long time no see Pablo, Smithys offer will probably be your best solution I cant see anywhere having an of the shelf tow bar for a Z nowadays. which means youd have to get one custom built, which dosent normally come cheap.

You could try these places first though!

serves me right for nipping downstairs and scoffing egg rolls!

Caravans should be band from the roads or only allowed on them between the hours of 2am-4am thats it.

I sometimes drive then... lol Keep the fibreglass on the water!
