No probs mate :)

Look forward to seeing peoples thoughts and opinions :D Will go for lightened pulleys at some point.

before you buy ask them if it has a Timing Mark on the Crank Pulley.

I've seen a few of the ebay pulleys and none of them had a timing mark. Without it you wont ever be able to have the car's timing checked.

Hi legrath, already asked that and it doesn't have one, but how hard would it be to transfer it from the original pulley.

Paul

I am sure you can align the old pulley with the new, and mark it. I may be wrong, but if you can, that is my next purchase!!!

I can feel a group buy coming up here!!!!

Looks good, simple upgrade for all people.

I am up for it.

I'd be up for a set, if the timing mark can be sorted easily!

Just to make people aware that they only specify 90-93 non turbo and 94-96 turbo not sure if they are any changes with pulley's over the years and between N/A and turbo models.

Oh bugger......

We need a 300 tech to sort this one for us. Any knowledgeable guys out there to shed some light on this.

cheers, peeps,

To fit an unmarked damper.Set your engine to tdc or "0" on the crank.Remove the damper being careful not to move the engine.Clean up the nose of the crank and re check the crank has not moved by half fitting the original damper and seeing if the notch lines up with the "0".If it does fit the new pulley then mark it in line with the "0" when viewed from above as if you were strobing the timing.Tighten the crank bolt.job done.

Why would they not fit on 89 to 93 TTs? I thought they would be the same as 94 to 96.

It will be to do with the number of ribs on the PAS pulley. There is another version for the 89-93.

But your right, there is no reason why you cant fit either, as whichever you buy will require different size belts than stock anyway.
