Is 12mm plywood in lwb boots under the carpet standard or has someone just put it in mine ?

The standard OEM boards can't be more than 4-5mm.

yeh, I was going to say 3 or 4mm

that migh be about it...so they deffo have plywood in them then? only reason I ask is for the boot builds I'm doing just incase mines got ply and no one elses has

Sounds like someone has added that, usually its three thin bits of hardboard under there.

I would have to agree, if your adding any subs in the boot you need to replace them with something more suitable.

Just checked it's 6mm ply not 12mm in mine sorry. All is good as that won't affect anything to do with the profiles I have cut I can resume my progress with them tommorrow evening now without any worries.
