As above, after giving it some welly, I turned into my street with the clutch pressed and it cut out like the revs dropped to low, its only ever done this twice, it starts and drives fine afterwards, it does have a sight idle issue, everything was fine on the conzult, could it just be the temp sensor or idle controle valve?

I´ve had all sorts of problems with the temp sensor mate and that sure wasn´t one of them ..my guess is the idle control valve as you call it, probably needs cleaning and the idle was turned down using the idle screw to compensate meaning from time to time the revs drop below 500 and cut out.
