temp sensor and thermostat are just about new, air filter cleaned last week, only lieves the 02sensors which i have no idea how to test them.. one after the other with this car really! :(

Tell me about it! I'm on my second time round replacing everything on mine! LOL

Only way to test them is to get someone to put it on a Consult and check the readings.

Anyone over your way have one?

Nissan will do it for you but charge about £50 I think.

Might be worth doing the usual cleaning of connectors and checking your temp sensors are on securely?

theres a few zeds round my way but dont think any of the owners have a conzult, will have a check on connectors and try find some one that can figure these 02 sensors for me.

Cheers Chris ;)

Half a tank (35quid) will get most people 140-150miles in town everyday and closer to 180-190 on motorways journeys! So yes Uber thirsty!! as said before 02 Sensors seem your best bet! Check fuel hoses for any leaks:)

well i know both my sensors are dead, and now found out tps is dead too.

She is drinking it like its going out of fashion.

I did £40 on sat alone. Worthing - Surrey rolling road 54 miles, then to pub, another 4 miles, then 55 miles home.

Thne home, total 103 miles virtually no fuel left.

Dosent help that i was playing alot.....

to be honest I think Iam getting the same sort of milage as you Nelson:(

Its mad really! Drove from greenisland to cookstown and came back half a petrol tank done couldn't believe it really:shock: plus arrivrd quite late and couldn't find any petrol stations open around my area, now I'm wondering if i have enough to make it to the petrol station..

I had the same problem, turned out there was a leak on the fuel rail, just before the dampener, couldn't smell fuel when driving, found it by accident when fixing something else! Might be worth a look mate...

as said i'd say conzult is the way forward for testing the 02 sensors , there is a list somewhere of who has one , not sure if there are any in Ireland though

Chris

I managed 104miles on a quarter of a tank, steady 60mph in fifth all the way. However the trip to the destination drank half a tank in the same distance!

Ive just managed 350 miles to a tank 90% mway at 70-80, usually get 220 just going to work and back so it does seem quite low for those speeds.

Are your 02 sensors ok?

Think I'll go somewhere try test my emissions so I know ofr sure before buying new sensors. I remember half tank used to do me for quite a few more miles then 90.. but well at list its driving well for a change lol

Hi Lusitano,

I have a conzult but the usb lead is built into the car as part of my carputer setup thingy. I might be able to remove it temporarily but unfortunately the car's in the garage at the moment so i won't be able to check til later in the week.

You can check the O2 sensors using the ECU test used to find fault codes in the ECU. You should be able to find the method for this test on here as i can't remember exactly how it's done. I know this method works as i used it to pick up on a faulty O2 sensor in mine before i got the conzult.

A rough way to check it would be to try running the car at around 2000 rpm in 5 gear. I found that with a broken O2 sensor the engine would sound really rough (as it's overfueling) at these speeds.

367 miles to a full tank, left 02 sensor is not working correct on mine

Motorway cruising? If thats urban :duffer:

You ain't driving quick enough :D

I only use mine as a weekend car TBH, so never really have the chance to do the maths, but i used half a tank to get to Tan Hill and back yesterday which was 165 miles total.
