if the worse happens with my zed and the crank is scored, what would my zed be worth with a broken engine, i dont think i would like to spend anymore money on it as ive just broke the bank recently with house renovations and car repairs

 

im just trying to see if its worth regrinding the crank or maybe selling as repair or spares, the body work and underneath the car is in great condition, its just the bottom end of the engine letting it down ATM

 

if anyone was thinking of doin a wide arch conversion my car is perfect to take the engine out and put their engine in

what would a new engine cost???

 

wish i had a drive or garage, i would keep it and sorn it till i had the funds to get an engine rebuild, i have spent so much on it over the years, and i have done most of the work so know its been done properly

 

it maybe ok as i havent driven much since the knocking started, if its just shells then all will be fine, if its crank then im not sure i have the funds to remove the crank and rebuild the bottom end

to be honest, im glad the engine went before i sold it, would hate to think that it was sold to a member and it broke then

i might be tempted to get rid of my zed since that body kit and colour combo is exactly what i was after, just the miles are a little off-putting. how much would you want for it including a working zed TT prahaps?
