PC Gurus : Increasing size of 'Temp' folder.

Trying to instal Adobe CS3 on my laptop (vista). I have an error advising me of the following.

 

attachment.php?attachmentid=48077&stc=1&d=1242061417

 

Now I've checked permissions and all seems ok. Just wondering if my Temp folder only has a small 'max' capacity and wondering if there's anyway to increase this?

    It's already turned off.

     

    I think you'll find it has to be turned on to allow it to install ;)

    Some programs insist on it.

     

    Yours must have been turned off - probably as part of the dodgy version of Windows it sounds like you are using ;) LOL

    Nah not dodgy at all, just a theme pack for xp built in...

    I thought it also had a few other tweeks and settings changed and bits removed to cut down the install size etc?

    Could be wrong... I have to stick to the genuine stuff!

    Thanks for the PM Chris! All now installed and working! Exciting stuff. Can't wait to start getting to grips with photoshop. I've only ever done any photo editing in MS Paint! LOL

    I think you'll find there's a few more features than Paint LOL

     

    Did you see those pics someone posted up the other day that they enhanced with Photoshop after watching some training videos?

    I work at an architects part time and some of the stuff they come up with is amazing. Just wish I had the time to get into it so I could improve some of my crappy photo's.
