what tyres

do i need for a 9.5j 18" wheels? gotta be 40 profile as its a rear, 285 too wide? what would be ideal?

    I've got 265/35/18 on mine and i believe thats the best size to keep the rolling radius somewhere near right.

     

    However when they need changing i think i'm going to try either 275 or 285.

    40 profile is too high, it will look odd and your speedo will be out.

     

    265/35/18 is a popular fitment.
