wondered how long till this thread came up, got to admit i jumped off my seat when barcelona scored much preferred them in the final than chelsea, however did think they should have had penalties but thought barca should have in the first leg to

That ref is a disgrace, 3 penalties without a doubt and what makes it worse is he was perfectly positioned for the two hand balls! Would love tho hear what he has to say when he sees the replays.

 

Fair play to Barca, they scored a fantastic goal but just gutting that it was in injury time and their only shot on goal :(

Yeah Drogba doesn't help. The guy did have a hold of his shirt, so why did he dive forward? Makes it hard for refs to give him anything.

 

And anyway, what about poor old Barca? They lost a player for the final when it was definitely not a red card. And both the handballs were AFTER they went a man down...before that Chelsea were struggling to get out of their half.

LOL I do feel strongly about Ronaldo because IMHO I do think he is one of the best footballers in the world and he does not need to resort to the underhanded cheating that he does.I have seen Drogba dive a few times but I notice it more from Mr Ronaldo.

the handball from annelka's chip was a deffo penalty....should of been given...the others were 50/50........i still think though chelsea should of tried to retain the ball more,in some cases they were just hoofing it clear,giving the possesion back to barcelona...i know they only had one shot on goal but thats all they need...you could see the goal coming....and drogba at the end was way out of order......i know you can get emotional,but frank lampard is a true pro,he kissed inniesta on the cheek and swapped shirts,while the others were going crazy at the ref......

it doesn't matter both were not that good IMO and if they play like that UTD will beat either one comfortably, i do feel for chelski the ref was cr@p. i do agree with the drogba and ronaldo comments too if you cheat you will cost your team as genuine penalties will not be give both drogba and ronaldo have missed out on genuine penalties for there teams cause of the diving

i think the final will be alot more open though...chelsea are more of a tactical side,while man utd and barcelona both like to attack......lets hope its a good un anyway......if ronaldo plys like he did tuesday though,he was awesome...dont like his diving and stuff,but when he plays like that,he's a joy to watch.

RUBBISH they could not get past cfc so how can you say barca deserve to win, as they were the bettter team. in the papers yestday, fifa had a meeting in spain , dare say that no two english clubs to be in the final

Off to the fa cup finale so hope that game has a compatant ref ,

I have been a Chelsea supporter since the eary 70s, Osgood, Webb, Cooke, chopper Harris and so on and it pains me to watch the likes of players like Drogba who drop as soon as any body breaths on them and last night he was up to his usual tricks and because of him the game went into extra time and Chelsea lost out for the final. I think its time for Drogba to go Chelsea will be a better team with out him. Sorry but this is my personal opinion and dont want to offend other Chelsea supporters.

On sky sportsts news at 10 this morning ,norweigen sports said that the reff was wrong on his reffeering and he has been told not to speak to any one untill a hearing has been held . will he be brought to book NO
