Problem with hosting video Files for my Bands Website...in need of some Tech help!

Keeping my fingers crossed that someone can help me out with this one!

On my bands website there's a section for video files which looks like this:

Propaganda-VideoMockUp.jpg

Essentially, you click the Post It note (on the actual site, each "note" has the title of the video in question written on it) and the video appears on the screen. Up till now the videos have been hosted on a private server (massive thanks go to Matt, "mtl" for allowing me to use his server for nothing...the guy is a true gent! :) ). However, as time goes by, the number of videos is going to increase and it's eventually going to become impossible to host them all on that server as they're going to take up a heck of a lot of room (each one is/will be between 60Mb and 100Mb).

Myself and the programmer Stu (another first rate chap who I was put in touch with by "Apache") have been trying to figure out a way to link to the files hosted on YouTube (or elsewhere...I'm happy to host them anywhere tbh!) but, and this is the problematic bit, still keep the custom made G.U.I. we're now using and not have to scrap it and replace it with the nasty standard YouTube player.

The 3 video files from one of our gigs are already up on YouTube (as I link to them in my MySpace Blog see: http://www.youtube.com/user/fridayUK ) but Stu tells me he needs the "absolute" file names to be able to show the video without the YouTube player...but we can't figure out how to get them for love nor money.

Can anyone help?

This is a pretty big thing as it could potentially really screw with the look of the site if we have to use the dreaded YouTube player skin...it would be a crying shame if we had to lose the G.U.I. we put together as we both worked really hard on it. :(

Will be keeping fingers firmly crossed that someone has a solution! :)

Cheers,

Leigh.

Hi Leigh,

I can sort you out an unlimited web hosting account on one of my servers so you can still have direct access to the files.

You might be able to do what you are wanting with a Photobucket Pro account but the space is still limited.

Chris.
