Yeh but you cant take it offroad, thats what discoverys are for! You wanna bling machine you buy a Range Rover, cus they cant go offroad!

Yep, its Range rovers people use for serious off-roading...not Disco's

Defenders are the peoples choice, discoverys are just poor mans defenders! Thats why i got one!:D

we used to run disco's in Tunisia for company cars ...they fell to bits in weeks

Disco 1's or disco 2's?

Disco 1's or disco 2's?

I'd imagine the first ones as they had all the BL switchgear. Indicator stalks were from Metros, rear lights believe it or not are straight from Maestro vans!

Yeh i thought i reckonised the rear lights! Disco 1's are much tougher than Disco 2's

This is how they should look, not all poncy

Finally someone thats talking sense!:duffer:

Thats what they are designed for a mate, not all chaved up and cant mount the curb with one cause the big chrome alloys with low profile tyres get in the way... lol

Totally agree. I hate Chelsea tractors unless I can see a use for them. I see no use for a 4x4 that can't be used as a 4x4....or one that's driving around picking up school kids. It's a bit like taking the Z engine out and fitting a 1.3i Micra engine. Or another example, like a fat bird with small tits. You've taken away the last remaining thing that would make her appear attractive.

Ghey

X5s are junk SUVs anyway. I see no point to these vehicles and even less point with shite unwieldy rimZZZZZZZZZZZ.

I wouldnt take a P38 through a puddle let alone off road!

Most people have no idea what a proper offroader is capable of, as you say most think its a status thing to drop the kids to school..:xxx:

Jeremy Clarksons statement "X5 gets stuck on grass clippings"

I wouldn't even buy a P38. See no purpose for them what so ever. :)....unless you're going to do this with them...

But, if you're going to be using them for that, you may as well get something cheaper and more rugged...(for some strange reason, you might understand my warped mind, but the Defender is the intellectuals' 4x4.)

It's in my opinion the original 4x4 , used by all the local rangers in my area still, and some really old examples still on the rd near me:eek:
