Hello all fellow Zed owners!

Ive been a quite member for quite a while now, but Ive also been searching behind the sceens for a zed car, my search was for a freshly imported Z32 TT manual.

As things have been lately I sort of forgot about the idea, until now, I was seaching earlier and found a very cheap Zed for sale, its in the isle of white and I think I have cut a deal with the guy, it needs work but I think its a good starting point to learn and invest some time into.

The pictures do make this look like a scrap car, however it runs and is totally stock, has had new turbos about 2 years ago, and to get it running needs a good properly service and a air flow meter.

I was wondering what all the experts would advice me, a good starting point to learn about the car??

Any help and advice is much appreciated!!

P.S....I do feel very excited about owning a Zed car hence why the search for one never came to a end.

Dosent look to bad, few bits needed, might be worth a talk with some of the guys on the island, see if they can have a look.

If its a runner, its a good start.

Doesn't look like a scrap car. A good service, some decent wheels/UK spec wheels and a manual conversion and you're set. Seen far far worse about covered in fibreglass shite. Looks like you have a decent base to start with.

Thanks for the kind words guys, Im just in the process of cutting a deal and he is willing to bring it over on a tralier as they need to collect a car from near me, I will either tow it home or ask them kindly to deliver it to my house, so I can begin the project. I think first thing is first I will service it, I have a set of AVS wheels waiting to go on when it arrives, and then to take it for a MOT and see what else needs doin.

AVS are good. Quite a classic old skool wheel from the 90s and suit the Z well.

These I take it.
