my sills went out aliittle while ago now but dta motorsport uk where kind enough to send me invertor connectors which apparently cause them to go out(water) i was wondering if anyones fitted them as when i had a look the wires go up into the roof,i was thinking interior light?

Each side has it's own wire run, but they both go to the same invertor, which would be a bit on the big side to be anywhere near the roof light.

My invertor is next to the interior light relay, which is behind the passenger rear quater panel (seat out, panel off job). My invertor has burnt out, so it's a good idea NOT to leave your doors open too long, even with the light switch set to off!

cheers, ive been given two invertors which have a switch on them?

The little switch is to turn the inverter on/off regardless of the live feed. Basically a safety feature should you not wish to have the sills on whilst the doors are open.

Well yes, that's what I'd of thought as well. But then where would you place this so that's it's useful? AND not obtrusive!
