N/A diff into a TT, my thoughts on mine

Swapped the TT diff for an N/A, new one piece prop (£240). Find myself looking for another gear quite often, in gear acceleration seems better, it will light the tyres dry road second gear straight line without clutching it (275 x19") now.

Top speed is less, but who needs that anyway? Cant say I notice the lack of Hicas. Uses fuel like there is a hole in the tank, lol. But it was never good at MPG.

Running 555 injectors on standard tubs, decat, firdanza alloy flywheel etc. But 19 inch wheels which are poor for 1/4 mile times. Ran a 13.4 first ever run at Avonpark into a strong headwind.

Worth while? Probably not. Would not do it again.

Been thinking about doing it myself but wasn't sure how much power the diff would take.

Hadn't really thought about the MPG would probably get worse although as I only get about 8mpg when I drive it hard it probably wouldn't matter.

Top speed doesn't really matter to me either - 120mph would do me fine.
