water pump 1990tt man geuine part or ebay stuff any diff and bearing in mind ive never had a problem with overheating or cooling should i leave alone or repalce with whats in there?

Are you changing it for the 60K service?

I'd use a genuine Nissan item, they aren't that expensive and is it really worth risking your engine to save a few quid?

From your other posts I take it your engine is out for some reason.

Definately replace it if it wasn't done recently. Same for the thermostat which is behind it.

yup, he is lookin for his subscription fee lol

I think I priced up the options and it was only 10 or 15 quid more for a Nissan one than some unbranded item from my local spares place.

If it fails your engine could be f****d!

Thermostat isn't much either.

Would be a nightmare to have the old one fail a few months after you've done the job and have to strip it all down again.
