It's possible but you have to grind some bits of the plenum down to give clearance from what i remember.

Might be easier to just take it out and you can replace all the pipes under there while you're at it.

Also do a water bypass at the same time if you haven't already

Removed plenum a few years back, to replace lifters right p i t a thought i could cheat:D

Bummer! LOL

 

There's a couple of small pipes that link the fuel rail you should replace while you're under there.

 

Do a search for plenum water bypass or similar.

You can basically strip out all the small water hoses under there and route them round the engine to bypass the plenum.

They are there to warm the plenum in arctic conditions.

It's not necessary in the UK and once removed there's no more leaks in future.

There's a diagram somewhere.

Standard hose and a few small jubilee clips.

I bought all the plenum water hoses from Nissan then read on here you can bypass it all.

They weren't cheap either - must be about 10 of em! LOL

Still in a box somewhere in my shed unused. Must get them sold.
