got a problem with my lights. if i put just side lights on the passenger side hid fires up but not drivers, i assumed this was dim dip and just drivers side didnt go for some reason. however i just went to try an solve the problem so 1st checked the voltages, drivers read 0.14 whereas the passenger side read 12.4

now if it was dim dip surely the voltage wouldn't as high as normal low beam would it?

does anybody have any idea what is going on and how to sort it?

thanks

I think you´ll find the voltage as such should always be the same ..12.4 sounds good ..the brightness etc would be regulated by the bulb wattage or resistors, but you should be reading the 12.4 volt at both connectors...check the wiring to the bulb , i had the same problem a while back and if I remember correctly it was a bad connection to the relay.
