dont understand

i rev and then the car revs itself after my rev but before the revs have a chance to drop down

that´s confussing..or is it just me ?

A: You rev while stood , lets say to 3000 rpm, then the car revs it higher than that on it´s own and then drops to idle

B: you rev while stood...there´s a pause and then the car goes up to 3000 rpm after you´ve taken your foot off the accelerator and then drops to idle

C: you rev while stood again to 3000 rpm..take foot off accelerator and it drops slightly but before hitting idle speeds goes up again ?

or "none" of the above ?

throttle bodies dirty and or springs not very springy...closing off the throttle properly

i no exactly what you mean, its not very easy to explain but mine did the same. seems to have stopped now, but i've messed about with so many pipes looking for vac leak that i could have nudged a wire which sorted it or it could have just been my vac leak causing it.

try checking all your connectors and pipes etc, might be something a tiny bit loose i suppose

basically if his is doing the same as mine did, when you blip the throttle as soon as you let off the engine blips itself a tiny bit more. mine was barelt enough to even notice on the rev counter but you could hear it. it was only tiny, but definately noticable and annoying!

I think you mean the revs go higher as you let off? If so mine does it when the car is cold
