Sorry I didn´t post this earlier but I was busy moving house.
Just wanted to tell you that you were spot on the whole time mate, with my starting issues...you kept saying " I´m sure it´s the temp sensor " and it was.
The auxillary fan did not come on until I pulled the connector so I thought the sensor was fine, but measuring the resistance between the sensor poles told a completely different story. The sensor was telling the ECU that the engine temp was fluctuating and at times overheating so it overfueled causing the starting issue.
