swapping PTU

ok i have got my series 2 PTU come in..

 

There are two clips either side with the loom cut off however arer the connections the same as the PTU S1?

 

can i take the plugs of either side of the S! PTU and swap them straight on to the Series 2 PTU? or do they have different connectors and will only have the choice to splice them in?

    The series 2 has different connectors and mine came with a short adapter cable to plug it into the loom.

    The PTU wiring seems to cross over and join from one side of the PTU to the other and joins in the middle.

    I think you'll need to find a wiring diagram to connect it up.

    If nobody has one I could unplug my unit and trace it out.

    so what is the simplest solution to getting this installed? splice wires into loom or splice existing loom into the side of the plugs on the new PTU?
