Adjustable drop links to not affect the ride height, they are adjustable to correct the angle of the antiroll bar to the chassis after lowering it with lowering springs.

It would not cause clunking no (worn ARB and droplink bushes could though).

Its more something you might notice if you had coilovers and had the car corner weighted. Becuase of weight variations in corners the final result may mean that the car can sit slightly higher/lower in one corner than an other, leaving you with excessive preload on the ARB on one side. You would adjust the droplinks to remove excessive preload on that corner to get the preload equal.

right so i shouldnt need to spend out more ££ then LOL

Stupid question, but why have adjustable drop link's.

As well as been able to make alignment adjustments after fitting lowering springs it also allows you to change the pre-load on the anti-roll bar, this way you can increase or reduce the amount of roll control.

The actual drop links wont adjust the stiffness or road control, its the holes in the bar that u fit the drop links into that will allow a stiffer or softer setup, further out and its softer further in and its stiffer as the bar has less leverage to twist, the drop links will preload one side if incorrectly adjusted.
