I SO want one of these, 21:9 ratio so exactly the same ratio as the cinema screen so no more black blocks at the top and bottom of the screen :hyper:

 

Plus it's got ambi light so it shines coloured lights onto the walls that match the picture to give a better viewing experience.

 

And the price for such telly watching pleasure? £3500 :shock: not bad i guess for something that size and quality

i take it it's plasma at that size ?

But what would it look like watching TV programs instead of Films ? Would you end up with massive black bits at the sides....or a stretched picture ?

That's what i was thinking legrath, great if all you watch is movies but even sky hd would have black borders around the edge :(

I am happy with our 40" Bravia. But what a tele though....:cool: You could earn some of the money back Nick by selling tickets :wack:

Good idea Vini, well i've got a 42" in the front room so anyone wants to come round and watch the fast and the furious tonight it's £5 entry with cold carlseberg in the fridge at 2 quid a can :rofl:

That is damn nice! My friend paid 5k for a 60inch 2years back which is still top notch for four-way halo3!!!

I had a 56 1/2" Sagem DLP went tits up so now have a 52" Samsung LCD which I am well chuffed with.I can alter the picture size to suit my viewing.

VINZ, mine's the 42" version of your old one, had one bulb go but was covered by the company i bought it off, they fitted a new bulb for nothing and it worked fine now for 2 years straight, corking picture too :D

 

Mine should have been 2k but i bought ex display with a warranty for £470, lovely tv and not had one problem with it since :D

you boys and your 50+ inches.......

I've only got 37" but it's how you use it ;) lol

i bought my folks a 60" just over a year ago now....they love it but i dare say i'd get more use out of it! Xbox multiplayer springs to mind!!

but its phillips and every phillips my family has had, has broke i would never buy that make agian

I think that you can go to big though with a tv all depends on the size of the room
