sorting the O2 sensors...??

TT UK Manual 94.

The last thing on the "to do" list is my dam O2 sensors, having sorted out the following issues since the last dyno.

Blocked boost jets - cleaned and fully working

Det issue - running in safety, replaced det sensor now working at full boost

Sticky throttle bodies - cleaned and fully working

Clogged Blitz induction - cleaned and fully working

PTU - replaced with Series 2 - fully working

Injectors sticking/clicking - cleaned and fully working

New stuff

plugs, tps, fuel filter, regular oil and filter change, new gear and diff oil, clutch, all silicone hosing.

The engine is superb and smooth now, but due to the O2 sensors its running lean.

On the last dyno it was 272 at the wheels with 324 at the fly, will fitting new O2's and the work done, increase it much more?

It certainly feels much quicker and pulls very hard.

You don't get lean with bad sensors mate, it's rich as it over fuels and is often the cause of poor fuel economy.

Conzult and more importantly a timing check is in order me thinks ;)

cheers
