Right I have 2 places of choice at for a meet on 12th/13th October (2 weeks from now)

Which are:

The foaming jug:

and:

The pear and partridge:

Actually I wasn't banned Ive never been in there. I once collected money from them for the papers they had delivered. Like getting blood out of a stone, tight as a nats chuff they are (or were)

The Manager of the Pear & PArtridge is not an Arsehole, you are just probaby a bitter tosser who got barred for doing something wrong.

Two good pubs, the nightlife of Perton. The Pear and Partridge is okay but the manager (if it still is the same on) is a bit of an arsehole.

The Pear and Partridge is a popular place to go.

what do you think??

the first one is in oaken, staffs. The second is in perton, staffs. Look em up on multimap is ur best bet. But M54 J3 is by far the easiest junction to get off at to get to these places, and im pretty sure its the closest.

I might change my mind yet, it could turn out to be held at the spread eagle at gailey, on some research ive been doing it seems theres loads of bike meets there, so they shouldnt have any problem with a car meet.

KEEP IT SIDEWAYS!

Yes Clarkey I will be there. I would suggest as most of us are coming over by motorway you choose the one which is closest to the motorway and has a BIG car park, but you need to make a decision pretty quick and guess what - we will all fall in with whatever you decide as we are all a bunch of sheep waiting for someone to shepherd us towards a pub! Don't wait for people to agree on a venue you choose it for us and we will all turn up. You are doing well so far.

yeah, the Honda ST1100 or something club meet there every month. Not much info available though i found this out:

"Once there we decided to take the easiest route, and got a cab to Gailey. From there, we went to the Spread Eagle for lunch, and were pleasantly surprised at the improvements made since our last visit in September. The place has been completely refurbished and it's now a competent (if formulaic) pub and restaurant."

And its easy to get to:

Got a few things to do that day, but hope to wrap them up in time to make it. cya! smile.gif

ok, so it looks like the spread eagle.

so I just have one piece of advice

between the M6 J12 and the gailey island..

STAY ON THE SPEED LIMIT!!! there are 4..yes 4 gatsos between the motorway and the gailey island. But there is a long stretch of A5 with no cameras if u want some fun wink.gif

Clarkey called the Spreadeagle as you requested. and the bad news is that they get very busy on weekends and the car park overflows onto the roads. Although we are very welcome they said cars are at risk as on the roads.

So we need a some good alternative recommendations for good pubs in the Wolverhampton to North Birmingham area, close to M6 with big car parks. Any ideas asap as its next weekend. Someone must have a local that would suit us, car park, babes and no max power yobs in the vicinity....must be one around there?
