Howdy folks im fed up with doing my Uni work so i thought i would post what i have done for all of you guys to see :)

1stly i had to write a Research paper on Concept Cars and how it can be linked to games (Harder than i thought as research was minimal) so that was a good 10,500 words for that!!

Then for my 'Project' im modelling a 3d Concept Car that i have designed myself.

So 1st my drawings

 

FRONT + REAR OF MY CAR (ROOFING WONT BE SO ROUNDED OR ALIEN LIKE)

TOP AND SIDE (SHOWING AEROPLANE ELEMENTS AS INSPIRATION)

3/4 SHOT AND GULLWING DOOR WITH AGGRESIVE FRONT

1ST STAGE OF 3D MODEL BEGINNING WITH DOOR

FRONT ARCH IN PLACE (NEEDS MORE ROUNDING I KNOW)

FRONT AND SIDE AFTER 3HOURS OF MODELLING!

 

This so far has taken me 3-4hours and once the back end is done i will begin putting in the detail in the doors, front etc. so hopefully tomorrow i will have some good fresh updates for you all! Im hoping to have this entire model completed (may do interior i have 1 made but its sh*t) by the end of the 17th of April (7days doing it in total) So daily updates should be available!

 

For level of detail at the moment! To measure the unit is by the amount of Squares (polygons) the car is made out of and Gran Turismo 5 each car is around 250,000 polygons in detail!! My car at the moment stand at 8,000 when mirrored across and made into a whole car. So i have about 30x more polygons that i can use :) :)

been rendering a 20second clip for 14hours now still not done OMG!!!!!lol messing around with a Wind Tunnel for Kudos points :)

Ok Guys the car is finished im trying to get a wind tunnel but my computer keeps crashing as it cant handle working out all the calculations!So i might not actually have a full wind tunnel :( Unfortunately being in a rush i forgot to Render the vids as Uncompressed using the 3d program so they were already compressed before playing with them in After Affects!! So unfortunately quality isn't its best but still good enough! Not spending another 14hours Rendering that's for sure!!!! Anyways Enjoy :D
