ive just recently bought a 93 TT and im having problems re-fueling!!

it has had a wide arch bodykit fitted and the alluminium fuel cap but i dont think its the right hose as it goes up then down into the old fuel hose!i dont want to really fork out for a new cap costing £120 when i have one just need some idea of how to fix this problem!

does the old rubber from the old cap need to be removed?where can i get a hose and what size do i need. if you have had one of these fitted please let me know so i can get this sorted.

most people use alot of fuel in their Zeds i cant get the fuel in!!!LOL.....

many thanks

Andy.

does the hose screw into where the cap used to go?the hose thats on is nothing like the picture its thinner (like a hose from a hoover) and its so annoying tryg to refuel the car with this.

do you think i could just buy a thicker hose?do you know if the old seal needs to be removed?

I know absolutely nothing about how it all goes together etc. I acquired the filler in a job lot of stuff and subsequently sold it on.

im sure someone on here who has done the conversion can help.

Or ask Luke.?? He might be able to sell you the correct bit of hose.

At work at the moment but when I get home I will see if I still have the instructions for when I did mine.
