OK Hotels,

Theres the Dorint right by the track which generally get fully booked, so if you want this one you will have to book sooner rather than later.

Theres another Dorint in Koblenz, which is 30mins drive away, and very nice. This is where I stayed when I went to the RING.

Check dates for the track on the website.

Make sure you have a full day session as accidents do happen. The track was closed 1.5Hrs after an incident.

I would go early Saturday and return Monday.

I checked the interest here in Sweden and there will be

between 4 and 6 cars participating from here.

Of course it's a long time till april so people can not tell for sure if they'll go.

Does anybody know where I can get hold of the PC-game GPL (Grand Prix Legends)?

It has a complete Nurburgring track built in!! biggrin.gif

Gotta practice, you know...

Maciej

Hotel costs are around £80 per night for the Dorint, but that includes Breakfast.

The RING is classed as public roads.

I think its 7 Euros per lap, or get 12 laps for 70 Euros. We bought the 12 lap ticket.

We shared the car for this though, so it might be worth sharing a ticket, and take it in turns to go out. The brakes take a real bashing, as do the tyres.

hi, smile.gif

i've read that you buy a ticket for you,NOT THE CAR!!you can drive any car,but anybody can't drive your car?????

is this right???

---cheers---

Great idea, but not Easter weekend. There's always something going on!

Is it the 70 euro for the long or the short circuit?

Neil, I need to know the dates you are arranging to go to Germany to keep it free?

hi john,

don't know as yet as next years calendar isn't out yet, spoke to the woman at the ring and she said she would e-mail me when it's availble,

sorry if this is a pain but it's how it is!

to put a very loose date on it late april, early may just depends when the track is open all weekend, because usually it ain't

the minute i hear owt so will you ok

--neil--

They only release the Yearly calander in early febuary if your lucky.

what you want to do is go for a weekend where the circuit is not to busy as if the regulars are there youll just end up pissing them of lol.

Hotels cost around £20 per night for a room sharing , and that is litteraly 2 minutes from the main enterance to the circuit.

5 day ferry return can get done for around £128.

this trip is well and trully worth going to do as its an experience like never before.

http://bagpuss.swan.ac.uk/dunk300zx/W_L_S/Nurburgring%20lap%20one%20Annie.wmv

this is a 32 meg lap of the nurburgring that we did, pretty cool.

hi,

£128 for the ferry jesus!!!!

hoping to get it at around £50 with open tickets come and go as you please..

the woman said she would poss. be able to get the schedule in nov/dec time

i hope so

--neil--

Neil, just found out that the 200+Club are also arranging a trip to the Nurburgring around Easter next year as there is some sport of festival going on then. There may be some further cost savings eg. hotels, ferry, etc by combining numbers together.

The guy organising the trip is chris_mann86@hotmail.com

i really dont see you getting a cheaper price than £120 for a 5 day open return.

youll have to go for at least three days, and grand prix legends is not anything like the real thing, not in the least believe me.

ill be heading out for another weekend before november if anyone is intereste din a short journey, im defo up for this next year if im still here.

Out on a Thursday night or Friday morning then drive back on the Monday morning.
