turbo replacement options

Im just weighing up my options at the moment as it may look like one of my turbos is on it's way out. The car is showing just over 92000 miles but i think only 5-10000 miles were done in the uk as its a jap import so probably about 70,000 kilometers on what looks to be the original turbos so it's kind of understandable i guess. I recently had the middle boxes removed from my exhaust and replaced with straight through stainless to mate up with the stainless rear boxes. I purposefully left the cats in due to all the horror stories about the turbo seals going, etc.. So, after doing the box removal, i now have a little white smoke coming from the passenger side exhaust. Luckily i already had the car booked in for tuesday 7th for a rolling road set up so gonna ask them about this. Now, assuming the worst, that my turbo seal has gone or is on it's way out.... what would be my best option, 1) get a second hand set and hope that they will last more than a couple of months, 2)buy a cheap second hand set, get them refurbed then re-fit them, 3) buy a cheap second hand set and get them sent off to be "hybridised"/re-built, or 4) buy an overhaul kit and re-furb it myself? What sort of prices would i be looking at for the above mentioned? im a little unsure what to do as this is my daily driver so can't be off the road for to long, and looking for the cheapest/best thing to do. Or failing any of those, does anyone know if there is a pair of "used but like new" hybrids for sale that i could just bolt straight on? cheers all

Question 4. will cost £200 to do both, thats for the kits off ebay and then to send them off to get balanced.

White smoke is water vapour, making changes to the exhaust has lowered the exhaust temperature to a point where any condensed water is showing up.

hmmmm, but it only seems to do it out of the passenger side exhaust, which, from the other posts that if read through, seem to suggest turbo seals. i posted another thread up with the symptoms:- http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=123947

im still uncertain if it is the turbo seals or something else as i have noticed just recently that it doesn't seem to be as quick as it should be, but it's not using any oil/water and holds a healthy 9psi boost.

was proberly a fluke coz of what jeff has said but a mate of mine had white smoke on his and he replaced all the vac pipe and the white smoke was greatly reduced but like i have said proberly nothing todo with it :)
