Does anyone use one their devices ?

 

They make a Radar and Laser detector and a GPS system for Speedtrap locations

 

What views on the products - if any !

Well as far as i know on this subject... UK doesnt use Radars anymore they only use Lasers... so a Radar Detector is useless and Cameras don't pump out any signals so... useless!!! With Tech around Lasers as far as im aware they only go Nuts when a Laser has been Fired (IE A SIGNAL) but i don't think we can out-brake the speed of a laser do you??

 

I have a radar detector (Bought for a Europe Driving Event) was useful there as they don't have the laser tech as we do, and when i tried it here it went nuts at every Traffic light (the Pedestrian sensors) and at the Infared sensors on Motorway overpasses!

 

Thats the idea of Cameras... they dont pump out any signal so you just have to watch your speed and keep an eye out for Signs (as by law there have to be signs stating speed cameras in this area)

 

So will probably be useless to you!Thats based on the knowledge that i have!

Gatso cameras are a mix of Radar and Road sensing piezo

 

Lasers scatter far wider than the actual target on the rebound and this can be detected

 

So those sort of detectors do have a place but it's not those I'm referring to

 

I've got a BTST GPS locator, not that earlier sort

im getting a little confused here (not hard:)),

 

the one's i always known to be inferior (as u said because of the ped's & infared etc)

 

where snoopers ?

 

and then eventul move on to road angel type devices and gps with camera warnings built in etc?

 

had both but the snooper drove me nuts !!!!:rofl:
