Hot Tip

When I get home I park the zed in the garage and open the bonnet, this does two things it allows the heat to leave the engine bay quicker saving the plastic pipes and parts from getting brittle and secondly it heats the garage up for hours after I park it so working on your zed is even more plesurable.:D Even if you park your zed outside leave the bonnet open( if it is safe to do so) and save your parts from a roasting it gets very hot in there and I have a turbo timer to cool the turbos but I think its good to let the heat out.

Top tip, nice one Gary  been doing this myself for years and can confirm it does help keep the plastic bits in better shape.

Fully open or just take it off the latch? I've been leaving it off the latch for the last few years.

Fully open is good if possible and safe but if not open the inch or so off the latch will help.
