Just wanna say a big Thanks to Jeff & Jamie for helping me out with my 300zx today, the help and advice I got was absolute first class from the guys!

I would recommend them anyday and will certainly be going back in the future for servicing and future upgrades and parts!

Well worth my 3 hour drive!

can i ask radron what was actually wrong with your car? as it had some top notch parts on the car so should have been awsome but you have since removed alot of them? just a little confused as to why remove the likes of the aem etc etc

Cambelt 2 teeth out, throttle balance way out, idle control valve set issues, timing 15 deg retarded, boost leaks from hell, tps way out, variable valve solenoids disconnected, vacuum pipes mixed up, boost controller pipes cross mixed into dump valve pipes, det sensor failed + numerous other little errors and faults.

That`s enough I am sure you agree, the decision to revert back to a Nissan ecu etc was to maximise the performance against reliability and service simplicity with just normal road / family use the AEM did not fit Radron`s requirement, a tad over the top for what he actually wanted that`s all.

Begs the question how the hell it was set up on the rolling road with all those faults and the lack of zed knowledge by the tuning company involved.

Hey buddy

The bottom line was not the car it was the C&*ts that have been looking after it for the last 2 years.

I have been caned and bent over and truly violated by them! When Jeff finally got his hands on my car it was running like a dog.

So I have decided that the best way to enjoy it for me is to have it in a form that Jeff can maintain. Hence I have removed the AEM as it needs specialist tuning which does not suit me. However for someone who has the time and is happy to spend the effort it will produce and awesome machine.

There was a whole load of other stuff, brakes not braking in a straight line - sorted by Jeff within a week (has been a problem for about a year and the other garage could never figure it out)

Strange squeeks and noises

geometry all wrong

Cambelt incorrectly fitted

anything you can think that has been knackered by someone who does not know what they are doing was knackered

So long story short. car is now in configuration that can be maintained by Jeff and it may not be the fastest or the biggest power but its awesome, it works and its bloody quick. SO I am a happy boy, fancy parts or no fancy parts! :hyper:

Thats it really, hope that makes sense,

P.S. I still have some pretty fancy parts though!!!!
