How much will this lot improve...

the handling on my zed?

I've bought the following parts for upgrading my subframes, suspension and brakes;

Hel Front and Rear Braided Brake Hoses

Whiteline Tension Rod Bushes

E.S.Transverse Link Bushes

E.S.Sub Frame Bushes

E.S.Upper and Lower Rear Arm Bushes

Whiteline Rear Stabilizer Bar + Bushes

Whiteline Front Stabilizer Bar + Bushes

I'm also going to buy;

KYB AGX Suspension all round

Eibach springs

Big brake kit

Racelogic TC

I know that the handling and stopping will be improved but I was wondering by how much?

I'm leaving hicas in place and not planning to upgrade to adjustable arms and links.

and have I forgotten anything?

Cheers

Dave

would go the adjustable arms and so on

one big factor that a lot of people forget when upgrading suspension and brakes is the tyres, if ya have poor o cheap tyres then all this means sqaut

i would suspect with the right tyre choice it will handle like a total different car

Same set up as me but i have teins and stillen arb.

It is like a new car, and around bends it will stay flat an solid on the ground. you can carry so much more speed through the bends.

easly keep up with the likes of scoobys. clios s2000's etc :)

I know what you mean about the tyres mate..lol It's running on continentals at the moment ;)

I thought the adjustable arms etc were only really required for 18" - 19" wheels etc? Mine are OZ Racing 17" 235 fr 255 rears.

it gives more refinement to an elrady good set up

ive never rated continentals, i used to got electric shock off my car when running them lol

You will need adjustable camber arms if you car is lowered as the camber will be out

dont think it will matter what size alloys you have. (maybe wrong on that tho)

Correct, its all to do with maintaining the correct suspension geometry when lowered. (you can just about get away with the stock arms on eibach springs however as they dont lower the car very much)

The suspension upgrades listed with transform the car, most Zed's I've worked on and driven with the original standard suspension feel heavy, wallowy and unresponsive in comparison to one that has been properly fettled with. The stock components are way past their usefull lifespan.
