Pistonheads

I've never bought anything from pistonheads before but a friend of mine may be interested in a car from there.

 

He has emailed the guy 3 times now (no phone number on advert) without response.

 

Do you have to be registered in any way with pistonheads to reply to their adverts?

    i bought my Tiv from there, advert up 1 day, emailed the guy, he phoned my number, arranged to meet at his at the weekend, took a bankers draft just incase, sorted out insurance and took it home!

    My mate has sent 3 e-mails to the guy without a response. He was just thinking you had to join up or something for it to work properly.

    Nooo, don't have to be signed up unless you're selling. Sold my old Skyline on there no problems. Better than eBay imo.
