December 28, 200124 yr I am definatly going to the nurburgring in April (just waiting for the opening dates for next year) We will be leaving on iether late late friday night or very early saturday morning. Expect to be by the ring at 8am ish. And will return home sunday evening 11pm ish at the ferry in france. The journey from croydon in london is 346 miles each way which equates to roughly 1 1/2 tanks each way. 1 tank of juice for the circuit. = 4 tanks of juice for weekend. Ferry tickets, will try get weekend special. Hotel accomodation is 8 miles outside the circuit very nice and works out roughly at 20 squid. There is lovely strech of autobhan on the way there and no speed limits you dont need helmuts for the circuit and no scruteneering. it is the best weekend away i can think of. if you are interested ill send more info. total weekend cost is roughly 350 squid give or take ------------------
