(so random, but thats me.......) *EDIT: Don't waste your time unless you are bored, just been told its OLD NEWS*

Been spending more and more time out on the road lately.... (getting tired of it, but a jobs a job) and when you are sat in the car for hours on end - you tend to think all sorts of shite...

Is only just occured to me that the way lorry drivers, bus drivers, reps or those who spend their life on the road, say "thanks" for either letting them in or whatever by flicking their indicator - left/right/left etc....

Its a pretty recent thing aint it? It used to be like the hazard lights or a hand up/out the window

Is it just me being a thick ass and never noticing it before or has the left/right/left thingy only started like over the last year or so :o

You obviously haven't paid attention to the road for a long time, that's been done for over 10 years :p

are you serious?

Yup!

Flipping heck.... guess I should start watching things around me with a little more concentration.... I suppose catching onto something a bit late is better than never catching onto it at all.... even if it is 10 years on! :smash:

You've probably been to busy doing your lippy or eye liner in the rear view mirror which is why you haven't noticed. :D

lorry drivers av done it as long as i can remember (a bloody long time), usually to say thanks for flashing them in when past another vehicle, sometimes hard to tell when you are past another lorry in your mirrors especially in poor weather conditions

thats been around for loads and loads athene:p..my driving day usually consists of about 5 front light flashers..5 turn signal thankyou's...6-8 middle fingers...10-12 wannker gestures...and a couple of knife across the front of the neck moves to really drive the message home:D
