I haven't been here before, as it normally clashes with my holiday, but i will be going this year.

 

Apparently it is a very large meeting of Japanese car owners clubs.

 

I have booked us some space, and i will be going (not sure how many days though).

 

Hopefully someone else will post more about what it is all about.

 

Im up for this one way or another... still might mean me coming in a Clio or even worse a Supra but i'll get there one way or another.

The Japanese Auto Extravaganza won't be such a big event this year, as The Z Club, Datsun Owners and Suzuki cappucino Club are doing their own thing, with a less formal show!

A separate 'International Japanese Motor Show' will be taking place for all the other Clubs, at a different location...Namely Standford Hall, near Lutterworth..on 23/24 June.

Think I am in on this one, gotta pursuade my boss I am busy that weekend, at I might be able to get my mate with his FTO to come along, if we slow down to let him keep up ;-)

 

Noticed there is a Raleigh Chopper meet on 16-17 June and a Nova meet 17-19 August.

as was mentioned earlier in the post somewhere i think, you only have to pay your entrance fee to Billing, and maybe some camping fee if you want to stay the weekend.

 

apparently you can camp from friday night, as it is a weekend event, not a sunday event...

i'll be there on sat/sun the entrance is a fiver and camping at billing is &13 per tent per night or you can stay at the premier lodge at the billing event for £46 per room per night this room is for 2 adults and 2 children if last year is anything to go by i think this will be booked already but camping is easy

Yep, can't wait. Might have to lower myself and be in my mates NSX though.

I presume that you guyZ that are going with Z's will be with your cars for most of the day?

 

Coz I'm not going round asking "are you guys off the 300 site?" to be told "no mate, couldn't afford to run one of them things!!! 200 guys we are!" like at SE!

 

They were a good laugh though, telling stories of runs at Santa Pod that had blown pistons coz of running far too higher boost!
