MJP in the traders section will sell caliper repair kits, and i once paid £270 for fitted front discs on an early na so that looks a nice price.

But for that price i would upgrade, prob work out cheaper too.

The Crossover year for the NA brakes was in 92. pre 92 was 26mm thick, post 92 was 30mm(TT brakes). As a 92 car you would have to check which size you have Im afraid.

in all honesty just upgrade to tt calipers there are so many breakers out there now tt callipers are cheap!

iv already spent the money now! :)

will turbo discs deffinatly not fit?

no i can guarantee that as i have tried! i have tt callipers waiting to go on mine with some brembo tt discs ;)

the disc fowls the edge of the caliper!

I've just fitted those in the top link this weekend and can confirm they fit my 92 NA (read below), but as Legrath says, double check if you've got 26mm discs already on.

The discs above from Conceptua do fit but they were slightly different dimensions to the stock discs i already had on. I had to fit a 3mm spacer (washer) between the caliper bracket and the hub to compensate. Great discs though. My car now actually stops!

WASHERS.................................F******** they were already on!!, i knew i forgot something when i put the calliper back together - would that make the creaking noise if i forgot to put em back on?

When i took my old discs off, there was a washer on each of the 19mm bolts, between the bolt head and the hub.

When i fitted the new discs, they were fouling the inside of the caliper and wouldn't even rotate. So i added (i think) another 3mm washer to each bolt between the hub and the caliper bracket, spacing the caliper out slightly. Now works a dream.

Think i might drop Conceptua a line, cause i doubt they know their 26mm discs have a slightly different internal measurement than the stock 26mm discs.

I might add, the washer idea is just temporary until i can fabricate a proper spacer that covers the width of the caliper bracket. I don't think i would rely on the calipers resting on the diameter of two washers too much!

No, the washers aren't a fix or a long-term solution. I fitted them to mine as a temp solution until i could get a spacer fabricated. The spacer needs to be the same surface area as the mating surface between the caliper bracket and hub. The washers would only be a fraction of this.

It depends on how much time and effort you want to go to. It would probably be less hassle to just send the discs back and get OEM ones from MJP (or grooved ones from DTA/Smithy) rather than doing the stubborn route like me. "I've bought them so i'll MAKE them fit" hahahahaha

Looks way to far out to even consider fitting I am afraid, dont forget, you do rely on them to stop you hitting things !!!
