Following on from the success of last years event I have been in contact with Castle Combe about us attending the event this year.

 

Castle Combe Race Circuit

Saturday 25th April 2009

 

If its road legal, has four wheels and an engine chances are it will be eligible for our Performance Car Action Day.

 

Displays from some of the largest performance clubs, stands with lots of tuning parts and accessories and you have the reason why this day is so popular. Look out for trophies for the best car and best club stand of the show.

 

Open to anyone with a suitable car and current driving licence.

 

 

Your car will be on display at the 300zx Club stand and 15min Track time sessions are available on the 1.85 mile Race track.

 

You do not have to put your car on the Track if you do not wish to.

 

Exact prices tba as we get a certain amount of passes free as a club so will depend on numbers - But around £20 per track session and £7 entry per person.

I have the preliminary track times. These are what I arranged with Castle combe over the phone but will be finalised when tickets arrive (next week).

 

I managed to get 2 sessions with us all on, in the 200bhp+ grouping, plus a couple of extra track session times for those who booked more.

I managed to get some extra Adullt Admission passes so have included a free extra admission pass for everyone.

Access vie Junction 17 or 18 of the m4. Follow brown tourist signs marked with a Chequered flag.

 

Gates open at 7am. First track sessions start at 9am

 

All Drivers going on track must attend Drivers briefing no later than 30mins before your 1st Track session, and will be provided with a wristband for track access.

 

Helmets are compulsory and arms and legs must be covered! They can be hired from Castle combe (its around 7 pound for an hour)

 

Passengers will be required to purchase a 5 pound ticket for the day and will be provided with a wristband for track access.

 

The Nissan 300zx Owners club stand location is "M4" , you should be directed to the space when you arrive. its alongside the track, which is handy for spectating.

Had a Fantastic time, Good to see everyone. The pics look great Ian. I haven't had time to sort my pics out yet.

 

We had Zed's out on 6 separate track sessions, and managed to totally avoid the rain.

 

I am knackered now.
