Yes mate, no boost leaks now, the car was really running on 1 turbo :O thanks alot for letting me borrow it!

Can I just ask, what was the symptoms/fault?

Well done on finding it :D

The symptoms were hearing air coming out of the car while driving it, 1 turbo working as the other couldn't get air and a bit of black smoke out of one of the exhuasts.

While doing a boost leak i was getting 0 air going around the system as it was all leaking out the Intercooler.

Thanks for that bud, just trying to see if anything was the same as mine, but I can't hear any air escaping from anywhere, just that my boost gauge only goes up to 0 and no furhter.

Incidently I didn't think that they can run on only one turbo, I thought it cancelled it out?

Well it was running like crap ill tell you, the black smoke out the back was unburnt fuel. what are you using to do a boost leak test? A compressor?? Make sure that the boost leak detector is sitting correctly, also pull out one of the hoses (like boost to the cluster panel) and see if you can fill if any air is coming out. If you cant feel anything then it means there is a leak down the system, check inter coolers!

I'm currently not using anyhting to do a leak test, as I wasn't planning on one myself, but this thread has just given me food for thought, as it were! ;)

The front bumper is due to come off shortly, so I'll have a good look around and see if anything is obvious

Thanks for the heads-up

Best of luck mate!

No probs, mate! Glad it works, and glad it's helped sort your problem - It must feel like a new car!! I had a look at the state of your intercooler when I was down Pauls earlier - I can certainly see why you were getting a leak!

Driving home was very wierd, the car idling right, getting 14 psi on the turbos it was like a new car, that reminds me, i need to get better rear tyres, wheel spinning in 4th is never a good sign!

i can see the prob straight away, that part on your garage floor is supposed to be fitted to ya car lol

:D Glad it feels better now...you could'nt of had 2 more difficult to get to boost leaks LOL
