i live in east sussex

can anybody tell me if they know where i can get a full diagnostic done on my car?

 

and if they can does anybody have any idea what sort of money it cost to have done?

whats the problem with the car mate?

everything :rofl:

its got gremlins! have done single self diagnostics and it does come up wit errors then it says no errors at all.

so am thinking maybe it time for a proper diagnostic to be run on it to set my mind at ease.

diagnostics with a scan tool can only tell you half the story. diagnostics in the real term i take it thats what you are after mate.

when you say everything is it engine faults or dive train? or other issues?

many things can be worked out with a bit of understanding of the symptoms.

drivetrain mostly!

 

i got gearbox probs galore :rofl: 1 minute it has no 1st and 2nd then if they work i have no 3rd and 4th.

its an auto by the way.

thought it might have been box dead but gears are there just not all the time(sorta like lights are on nobody home kinda thing)

but checking whole system would be best i think.

start from scratch knowing if anything else needs sorting

not sure i'd want to drive it all the way to warwickshire though cos its burning way to much fuel

just been checking out the gearbox on my auto

 

have found that it pulls away when its in drive like its in 3rd

pulls away in 2nd

when i put it in 1st it locks as though its in park

 

so really have no idea now totally :confused:

 

please help??

That's what happens when you buy an old 3 litre perfomance car :headvswal get it to a Zed Specialist like Jeff and get it sorted.
