Curb lights, on some models they light up when the indicators are on.

I have them wired up as sidelights

what sort of bulb should i use then..?

sorry if i appear bit dim but dont wanna get pulled by the plod

I find those 'directional' lights I think they are called, pretty handy, they light the curb and pavement up quite nicely when turning a corner, although I think I remember a thread on here about someone getting a bit of grief from the MOT guy about them, but he still got his MOT ;-) Ya can always pull the bulb out for the test, that's if ya wanna keep em, like pete said, ya could use em as side lights or something mate...

I now have HID Fog Lights, now them is bright lol.:dance::dance:Bit of a pain to convert but well worth it.With mods done I can now have HID drive lights + Mainbeam + Front HID Fogs+Outboard and Inboard side lights all on at the same time.Chav innit :dance::dance: Great for melting the snow infront of garage :D

Bloody hell mate, I bet you can xray the cars in front as well! lol

and i think they are 501 bulbs

Aren't 501's the push in christmas tree type bulbs? If so, then nope - they aren't 501's. They're just standard, opposite pin bayonet 21W ones - same thing as the reversing lights :)

Just changed my main beam, sidelights (for LED 501's) and fogs, so thought I'd have a quick check of the kerb/turning lights while I had the indicator out!

Hi Vinz

I've got the same, HID Fogs and Dip beam, put 120 watt bulbs on Main beam, Led Sidelights and the original special 'blue' sidelights are in the kerb lights

The ligting is the best I've ever had

Which HID Bulbs did you fit in fogs Tony? I fitted H3C ones, plenty of lense clearance just had to modify rear grey casing and drill a 23mm hole for gromet.

Dunno, I got them and Jeff @ Zedworld fitted them but they just went straight in. They are awesome. I think I got them from 2fast2cool off ebay and they were a qulaity set

The zed now throws a shadow from any car in front !

thinking im gonna be putting some bulbs in then,if for nothing else but lighting the kerb up,sometimes in the dark its a pain not being able to see the corner properly or maybe its just my eyes are painted on ...lol

if it does cause problems like you say i can take them out for the m.o.t:rolleyes:

Mine has just gone straight through it's MOT with them mate, so you should be fine. And I reckon the place I used paid attention to bulbs cos they had to put a number plate bulb in for it to pass!

On a totally different note - just emissions that needed tweaking and a number plate bulb - pretty happy with that for my first MOT!

Don't think the MOT would be an issue as my Mitsi Challenger does it as standard
