who would be best to help and how much?

We can do you a custom chip based on your car's setup for around £65. If your ECU requires socketing and you want us to do it then that'll be an additional £36.

Let me know if you require any further information.

heya, so far have added induction and kakimoto catback exhaust, thinking of going for the full straight through tho.. was looking at DTA's response, checked out the website...only problem is i live in stirling in scotland which is one hell of a treck. what is socketing btw?

soldering in a socket, that allows the chips to be removed and swapped without having to solder and resolder time and time again :)

Any decent electronics repair shop can do it for you if you dont wanna send your ecu off :smash:

he does via mail order you take your ecu out and send it to Dan. I've has 2 ecu's by him and he's real quick and very good :D

what does this custom chip do? how does it work?

fuel maps to allow raised boost via boost controller(to avoid running too lean and detting) speed limiter removed , rev limiter raised

sounds like a good plan to me! does the map change as i raise the boost or would the boost be stuck on one setting after that?

the eprom (depending on which one you go for and how its mapped) will know how much fuel to supply at each given amount of boost. its up to you how much maximum boost you want the boost controller to run and how quickly it builds up

most boost you want to go upto with stock injectors is 14.5psi (1bar) mate
