Found some coil-overs, they were listed as Tein monoflex. when I asked what they came with this is what was said

A: Its not the new kit, it was second hand, it doesnt come with the pillow ball upper mounts, these are the lower end of the scale coilovers. they are complete except for the c spanners, however i have ordered a set, and when they arrive will be forwarded to the winning bidder.

Anyone know which ones they are as they, as they aint the ones I thought they were. I thought they were the top line ones:(

The monoflex are there better coilovers, below that you have the Flex and then the superstreet. There are also various other older versions RA, HA ..etc

tein Hr are old school?

I managed to get that mush from searching the web, but aint any real info about for them, are you any good and what are they worth??

if they are the ones then the spring rates are fine, the height and pre load are adjusted together which kinda sucks but thats why the springs have loads of length and compression, the helper springs also keep the springs in postion when set up on the lowest setting which realistically gives a lower preload rate. It also keeps the spring in postion when the shock reaches its full length over a hill crest.
