Hi mate the new alpine range is supposed to be awesome. You can get ones that are just digital media no cd and they start aroud 100 quid so not too expensive either

ive just fitted an ALPINE one this morning thats pretty good, with bluetooth as well. this is it http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_504661_langId_-1_categoryId_165474

will work with ipods too i think, just plugs into the bottom and transmits the signal in FM frequency, just tune in the car radio to the same frequency and away you go, much cheaper than a full stereo and can charge the ipod at the same time too. quality of this particular one is brilliant too, beware cos some are shite.
